Baby P.j’s special Birth – Fresh 48 Session
Birth is one of the most euphoric times in a persons life. You get to witness the miracle of a life being created and then being brought Earth-side. There are so many emotions and feelings that course through your body that most times you don’t remember anything once birth is over, well expect for the pain. Which is where birth photography and Fresh 48 Sessions come in.
Birth photographers are experienced in keeping the parent’s relaxed, most don’t even realize that the photographer is even there. They capture the raw emotions that you might not get from dad or another family member taking the pictures. They remember to get all the little details that someone who is about to become a parent or grandparent, may not think to get. Normally booking a photographer for birth is different then a normal session. You would contact us a few months in advance and we would discuss your due date, if your having any complications, and what you are comfortable (or not comfortable) with us capturing. As your due date approaches you would keep us in the loop with each doctors appointment. You would call us and let us know any changes that are going on (if your dilated, if your doctor has any concerns or if you are having any complications). When you go into labor you would let us know (and if or when your water breaks), we will come in once you starting to dilate and progress.
After Birth we love to capture baby in a fresh 48 session. Fresh 48 session is when baby is 24-48 hours old. We capture images of the new family, baby, and the parents with baby. We try to keep it as relaxed and real as possible. Images are normally organic and just happen, we capture the brand new love that is occuring without a lot of posing or influence.
