Why are family pictures on vacation such a great idea? Every family goes through the dilemma “where are we going to have pictures done this year?”. Whether you live near a coast and your tired of the beach or you live inland near amazing mountains or wide open fields, everyone gets tired of their surroundings. What better way to utilize new surrounds while vacationing then having a family session done. You’ll always remember the new memories made on that trip and the fun your family had while looking back at those pictures. This family did just that! We were contacted by this awesome family wanting to do a laid back family session on the beach while they were in town. There are so many reasons to do family pictures on vacation, the best one is new surroundings. You have a brand new gorgeous back drop that you can use. For this session we took to Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Right before sunset made for a great sky full of colors. Another great reason for doing family pictures on vacation, is you get a new experience together. You get to explore a new place and chances are your photographer knows of the best locations that visitors normally don’t know about. You will always have these memories of doing this session with your family and will have them captured in pictures forever. Its best to start planning as soon as you know when your vacation dates will be so your photographer can start planning locations and good times of the day for great light and colors in the sky. Usually during peak season photographers are pretty busy with weddings and events going on, so its best to book ahead for that reason also. We had a blast with this session, great weather, great skies and a great family!
