Myers.  Kelly and Aaron choose this beautiful mansion on the water for its unique charm and Floridan feel.  The Heitman House offers a one-stop location for both your ceremony and beautiful reception.

This past October their wedding was held at the Heitman House in Downtown Ft. Myers, Fl. It is a gorgeous location right on the water with an extraordinary dock.  Its an older home that has lots of character and makes for a gorgeous back drop for any image. The bride and groom chose to go with a rustic theme and chose a gorgeous purple color. They also added in some personal touches, like their cake topper that was the couples dogs and said “we do too”. The great thing about the Heitman House is that its so versatile. It can be done up for an extravagant glam wedding, or toned down for a laid back outdoor affair.  It easily can be charming to any bride that visits. This Heitman House Rustic Weddjng was one of our favorites to shoot.

The couple decided to have their ceremony right before sunset on the edge of the water. It made for the perfect backdrop to their romantic ceremony. Later the couple took their reception to the lawn of the Heitman House for a gorgeous dinner under the stars. The October weather here in southern Florida made for a perfect evening. The Gorgeous Bride stole the show this night, and I don’t think anyone minded. Before the ceremony the couple decided to do a first look, which is where they have a private moment to see each other all dressed up before they say “I Do”. It makes for a more relaxed ceremony and most couples say it makes them not as nervous. This first look was one of our favorites, couples like this make our jobs that much easier. Congratulations again!
